Gmod stuck on downloading workshop I can't play the game because it's 'validating' and it won't download any workshop files too. After, I decided to install workshop files. So, lately I've been having the issue of not being able to play Gmod because Steam is telling me that it's downloading updates, or something. After downloading the content from the workshop, I clicked the join button and everything went fine until the end, when it says "workshop complete". This wouldn't really be an issue except that in that time when it disappears I drop to about 10 fps, making my game stutter to the point that it's unplayable. For some reason, when I try to download something off of the Steam workshop for Gmod, it won't start downloading… When attempting to join servers, stuck on the requesting lua files step while connecting.
